O U R   S T O R Y

We are a small team of Game Artists working together on a new project called Temporeal; a stylized game that works in time based puzzles into an interactive narrative environment. Our team consists of 7 individuals who are all looking to make waves in the game industry.

We started out as students studying the Art of Videogames at Escape Studios in London. After studying for 3 years side by side we decided to team up during our Integrated Masters course and start up as an Independent Games Company. Originally our vision was to create a unique experience over the game development and release a Demo in Q2 of 2022. However as Time passed, the Temporeal Project grew in design and we wanted to continue working on the project until we had a final game we could bring to our Fans.​

The Team consists of a bunch of Games Artists who range from specialisms in Environment art to Material art. Over time and as we worked on the project we also were assigned our roles within the company. As we now are we are the founding 7 of the company, with some of us working in the PR department, while others work as business strategists. This is the First time any of us have worked to make a Start up Company, and so it is a fun learning experience for all of us. 

We hope that you will follow our journey closely and follow us on our social media to see the team in action as we work towards releasing Temporeal. We are dedicated to bringing you only the very best we can offer.

- Joshua Kiddie -
Producer, Material Artist, Level Artist, 3D Generalist

Josh K is the driving force behind making sure things get done, managing the Team Scheduling and delegating tasks within the team to keep Fragment running as a cohesive unit, while also being the main man behind our Team Logo, utilizing his Graphic Design experience. Josh has fulfilled a few different roles within Environment Art, specializing in Materials, while also having strong knowledge of Foliage creation pipelines and Lighting.

- Tommy Hallam -
Creative Director, Environment Artist, Narrative

Responsible for creating the initial game idea, Tommy is the team's artistic visionary, fulfilling the role of Creative Director. He will be leading the art directions, making sure the quality and style remain consistent with set standards for the project. Tommy holds a variety of artistic skills, including experience with both Realistic and Stylised, Hard Surface and Organic and also has strong knowledge of a variety of software packages

- William Bradley -
Business Strategist, Environment Artist, Lighting Artist, Narrative

We shall call him….Moneybags. Jokes aside, Will has the important role of looking into ways we can fund development and how to secure investments while keeping Fragment's best interests in mind.  Will is an Environment Artist, with a strong understanding of modular pipelines, allowing the creation of amazing scenes in an efficient manner.

- Lee Smith-Anderson -
Blueprint Artist, 3D Artist

The resident workaholic of the group, Lee works all sorts of hours to further his skills as a Technical Artist and Prop Artist. As the team member with the most technical experience, he has been given the job of setting up our core gameplay and testing it.

- Joshua Steyn -
Social Media Manager, 3D Artist, VFX Artist

Yet another Josh, Josh S will be running the Social Media side of our publicity, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and such, with his experience leading the Esports Society of the PCSA (Pearson College Student Association), managing Fragment's public relations through these avenues. Josh S is a passionate Hard Surface Artist and will be contributing his skills to the props team during the game's development.

- James Snell -
Blog Manager, 3D Artist

Taking an advisory role within the team, bouncing ideas and suggestions off with teammates, while also providing his problem-solving skills. His main specialty is Material and Texture creations, having strong knowledge with a variety of pipelines for both Realism and Stylized, while also being able to setup up shaders and Material Functions in Unreal Engine, and having a good understanding of UE Blueprints.

- Vuk Zrnic -
3D Artist

With a creative and unique knack for storytelling, Vuk comes up with ways we can give a narrative to the player through dietetic, environmental storytelling. During production, Vuk will be providing his 3D Prop Art skills to assist the team in creating an incredible environment.
